3 Very Important Wins For Parents

September 30, 2016

After the Cleveland Cavaliers made history coming back from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals to win a championship for the city of Cleveland for the first time in fifty plus years, tears of joy were shed in another way for championship level fatherhood and parenting.

JR Smith's emotions about his family after winning three straight NBA Finals games and a NBA championship with the Cavaliers highlights the importance of good parenting and particularly good fathering.  With his father present on Father's Day, JR Smith saluted his father with the highest honors any father or mother can receive outside of seeing their children in heaven with them.

Months ago we talked about child custody laws in the state of Tennessee and Georgia for married and unmarried parents, and the importance of filing for custody with a 50-50 parenting plan.  It may be years after the child custody petition is filed and the divorce is over in Tennessee or Georgia Juvenile, Superior, or Circuit Court, but time and eternity will tell the results.

There is a Bible verse that says "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."  There is another verse that says "but if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel."  We can see the results of parents, and especially fathers being involved in their children's life.

If you would like help being a more involved parent and particularly a father, contact Advice Law Firm or First Things First, and ask about their fathering class.  It can make a difference, and make you a champion in your children's eyes.  Advice Law Firm can even help with grandparents visitation rights in Tennessee and Georgia.
